JOB DESCRIPTION:-
Designation: – Assistant Content Writer
Job Location: – Noida
Salary: – Rs. 1.80 – 3.00 Lacs per annum
Work Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a reputed #news or #entertainment portal
Shift Timings/Transport: -06:00am-03:00pm – Pick up from Home – Drop till Sector 18, #Noida.
10:00am-07:00pm – Pick up from Sector 18, Noida – Drop till Sector 18, Noida.
03:00pm-12:00am – Pick up from Sector 18, Noida – Drop till home.
Please note – Home transport services depends on the location of the candidate.
Skills required:
- Excellent #writing skills in #English (It’s a must)
- Sound understanding of #national and #international #affairs, #Indian politics, #business and #sports
- Ability to write and edit news #articles besides coining appropriate and catchy headers
- Must be #Internet savvy with fair understanding of online #content generation
- Should be comfortable with online tools with a personal online presence on #social media #channels
- Ability to work on Adobe #Photoshop
- Should be comfortable in Hindi to English translation and vice versa.
Educational Qualification:
- Masters degree in mass #communication / English
- Diploma in #computer application (Preferable)
KRA:
- Responsible for selecting relevant and appropriate news articles from wires (#PTI, #AP etc.), editing and assigning them catchy headers.
- Responsible for developing #stories aired by News channel in English and posting them in appropriate news format.
- Responsible for original content generation on assigned verticals using inputs from wires and other online sources
- Responsible for writing blogs/ analysis on assigned verticals.
- Responsible for chopping and uploading videos on relevant stories of assigned verticals.
- Responsible for driving traffic on assigned verticals.
- Responsible for producing specials on a regular basis on assigned verticals
Professional traits:
- Must be Willing to work in any #shift (Morning, General, Evening)
- Should be a team player
- Ability to come up with innovative and out-of-box ideas.
